Your privacy is critically important to us. The core philosophy of PocketPulse is to be a private, offline-first expense tracker.

PocketPulse is designed to work completely offline. We do not collect, store, or transmit any of your personally identifiable information on any external servers. All the data you enter into the App is stored exclusively on your own device.

The data you voluntarily enter and that is stored locally on your device includes:

• Transaction Data: Income and expense amounts, descriptions, categories, dates, payment methods.

• Budget Data: Budgets you set for various expense categories.

• Customization Data: Custom categories you create for income or expenses.

• Notes and Tags: Any additional notes or tags you add to a transaction.

We do not collect:

• Your name, email address, or phone number.

• Your geographic location.

• Your device's unique identifiers (except as may be required for future ad services, explained below).

• Any other personal information that you do not explicitly enter as part of your financial records.

2. How We Use Your Information

The information you provide is used solely to enable the functionality of the App on your device. This includes:

• Displaying your income, expenses, and overall balance.

• Generating reports and charts based on your financial data.

• Tracking your spending against the budgets you have set.

• Allowing you to filter, sort, and search your transactions.

All processing of your financial data happens locally on your device.

3. Data Storage and Security

All your data is stored in the App's private storage on your device's local file system. We take reasonable measures to help protect your data within the App. However, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your device (e.g., by using a passcode), as the security of the data stored within the App depends on the overall security of your device.

Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all of its data from your device.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your data with any third parties.

The App includes features that allow you to voluntarily share your data:

• Export Feature: You can choose to export your data as a PDF or JSON file.

• Share Feature: You can choose to share summaries or exported files with other people or apps on your device.

This sharing is initiated and controlled entirely by you. We do not automatically share this data with anyone.

5. Future Advertising (Google AdMob)

The current version of PocketPulse is ad-free.

However, to support the development and maintenance of the App, we may introduce advertisements in a future update. If we do, we will use Google AdMob as our ad provider. AdMob may collect non-personal device information (such as your device's advertising ID) to serve personalized ads.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Because all your data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it. You can:

• Access and Edit: View and edit any transaction or budget directly within the App.

• Delete: Delete individual transactions or use the "Clear All Data" feature in the settings to erase all your information permanently.

• Uninstall: Uninstalling the App will delete all its data from your device.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with information, please contact us, and we will take steps to delete that information.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy in this section and updating the "Effective Date" at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
