PillMate: Medication Reminder ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your personal information is collected, used, and disclosed by PillMate.
This Privacy Policy applies to our application, and its associated subdomains (collectively, our "Service") alongside our application, PillMate. PillMate is designed with privacy in mind. All medication schedules, histories, and personal settings you enter into the application are stored locally on your device. We do not transmit, upload, or store this data on external servers.
We use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you, primarily for the purpose of serving advertisements and ensuring the application functions correctly.

Google Play Services: For core Android functionalities.
Google AdMob: We use AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use data (such as advertising IDs and IP addresses) to show personalized or non-personalized ads.

Since your medication data is stored locally on your device, we do not have access to it and cannot use it.

To function properly, PillMate requires the following device permissions:
Notifications: Used to send you alerts when it is time to take your medication.
Alarms & Reminders (Exact Alarms): Used to ensure notifications are delivered exactly on time.
Internet: Used exclusively by the Google AdMob SDK to fetch and display advertisements.
We value your trust in providing us with your information. Your health data is stored strictly on your device using a local database. However, remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security. We recommend securing your device with a PIN or biometric lock.
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers (Note: we do not have servers, but this applies to any third-party SDKs used).
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
