Thank you for using Painter’s Assistant! We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how data is handled within the app, which is designed for users aged 13 and older.

• Painter’s Assistant does not collect or store any personal data from users (e.g., name, email, or location).
• The app requests access to the camera and gallery to allow you to select an image as a reference for drawing using augmented reality (AR). It also requests camera flash permission to enhance visibility during use.
• The app uses local storage (via AsyncStorage) to save non-personal data, such as your acceptance of this privacy policy, to improve your user experience. This data is stored locally on your device and is not transferred or shared externally.
• No images or other data are saved, and none are transferred outside your device. All processes are local and cleared automatically after use.
Data Usage
• Since we do not collect personal data, it is not used for any commercial or marketing purposes, including analytics or advertising. The locally stored non-personal data (e.g., privacy policy acceptance) is used solely to enhance app functionality, such as preventing repeated privacy policy prompts.
Security
• As no personal data is stored, we do not share any information with third parties or use external services for data analysis or advertising. Locally stored non-personal data is securely managed on your device.
Safety Warning
• The app includes a one-time privacy policy prompt when you first open it, requiring your acceptance to proceed. This replaces the previous safety notification and does not collect data. Be aware of your surroundings while using AR to avoid hazards.
Your Rights
• Since the app does not retain personal data, there is no need to request its deletion. The locally stored non-personal data (e.g., privacy policy acceptance) can be reset by clearing the app’s data via your device settings.
