Privacy Policy for MathNest

MathNest is a mathematics learning and practice application developed by CodeFusion Labs for children studying in Classes 1 to 5.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when users access or use the MathNest application.

1. Information We Collect

MathNest does not require users to create an account or provide personal information such as:

• Name

• Email address

• Phone number

• Home address

• Precise or approximate location

• Contact information

• Photographs or videos

• Device identifiers for advertising

• Payment information

CodeFusion Labs does not collect or receive personal information through MathNest.

2. Information Stored on the Device

MathNest stores certain learning information locally on the user’s device so that it can provide progress tracking and a personalised practice experience.

Locally stored information may include:

• Selected class

• Practice history

• Questions attempted

• Correct and incorrect answer counts

• Accuracy

• Practice streaks

• Achievements

• Topic progress

• Learning statistics

• App settings and preferences

This information remains on the user’s device and is not transmitted to CodeFusion Labs.

3. Reports and Sharing

MathNest may allow a parent or user to generate learning reports in PDF or CSV format.

These reports are generated locally on the device. They are shared only when the parent or user intentionally selects a sharing option provided by the Android operating system.

MathNest does not automatically upload, transmit or share these reports.

When a report is shared with another application, the privacy practices of the receiving application are governed by that application’s own privacy policy.

4. Advertising

MathNest does not display advertisements.

The application does not include advertising SDKs and does not use personal information for targeted or personalised advertising.

5. Analytics and Tracking

MathNest does not use third-party analytics, behavioural tracking or advertising-tracking services.

The application does not create advertising profiles or track users across other applications or websites.

6. Device Permissions

MathNest does not access or request access to:

• Camera

• Precise or approximate location

• Contacts

• Microphone

• Call history

• SMS messages

• Photos or videos

• Advertising identifiers

MathNest uses only the device functions necessary for its learning features and for actions intentionally initiated by the user, such as sharing a locally generated report.

7. Internet Access

MathNest is designed to work offline.

The application does not use the Android INTERNET permission to transmit learning progress or personal information to CodeFusion Labs.

A user may choose to open this Privacy Policy webpage in an external browser. Any internet access used by the browser is handled by the browser application and not by MathNest.

8. Children’s Privacy

MathNest is designed for children studying in Classes 1 to 5.

The application does not knowingly collect personal information from children. It does not provide:

• User accounts

• Public profiles

• Social networking

• Chat or messaging

• User-generated public content

• Location sharing

• Online multiplayer features

Parents and guardians are encouraged to supervise their child’s use of MathNest.

If a parent or guardian believes that personal information has been provided to CodeFusion Labs in connection with MathNest, they may contact us using the email address provided below.

9. Data Sharing and Sale

CodeFusion Labs does not sell, rent or share users’ personal information with:

• Advertisers

• Data brokers

• Analytics providers

• Marketing companies

• Other third parties

Because MathNest does not collect personal information through the application, no application data is sold or used for advertising.

10. Data Retention and Deletion

Learning progress, statistics and settings are stored locally on the user’s device.

Users can remove locally stored information by:

• Using any reset or clear-progress feature available in MathNest

• Clearing MathNest’s storage through Android device settings

• Uninstalling the application

Because CodeFusion Labs does not receive or store this information on its servers, it cannot remotely access or delete information stored only on the user’s device.

11. Android Backup Services

Depending on the user’s device and Android settings, locally stored application information may be included in Android’s operating-system backup or device-transfer services.

Such backup and restoration processes are controlled by the user, the device manufacturer and the operating-system provider. They are not directly controlled by CodeFusion Labs.

12. Third-Party Services

MathNest does not intentionally integrate third-party services for:

• Advertising

• Analytics

• Cloud storage

• Social media

• Remote authentication

• Behavioural tracking

Android operating-system features may be used when a user intentionally shares a report or opens an external webpage.

Any third-party application selected by the user is governed by its own terms and privacy policy.

13. Security

MathNest is designed to minimise privacy risks by keeping learning progress and settings on the user’s device.

However, no device or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users should protect their devices using appropriate security measures such as screen locks and operating-system updates.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

CodeFusion Labs may update this Privacy Policy when:

• MathNest features change

• Privacy practices change

• Legal or Google Play requirements change

Any updated version will include a revised effective date and will be made available inside the application and on the public Privacy Policy webpage.

Users are encouraged to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
