2. 100% Offline Processing (No Data Collection) Image Resizer is designed as a completely offline tool. We do not collect, transmit, store, or upload any of your images, photos, or personal data to any external servers or cloud services. All image editing operations (such as cropping, resizing, converting, compressing, and rotating) are performed strictly locally on your device.
3. Permissions & Local Storage To provide its core functionality, the app requires access to the images you explicitly select.
Photo Picker: We use the modern Android Photo Picker system, which means we do not require broad "Read/Write Storage" permissions. You only grant the app access to the specific photos you choose to edit.
Cache & Saving: The app uses your device's temporary cache memory to process images. Once edited, the final images are saved directly to your local gallery or a specific folder on your device. You can clear the temporary cache at any time from the app's Settings.
4. EXIF Metadata Handling Our app includes a feature to preserve image metadata (such as Date, Time, Camera Model, and GPS Location/EXIF data) when resizing or compressing.
This data is extracted solely to be copied into your newly edited image if you choose to keep the "Preserve Metadata" option enabled.
We do not extract, read, or use your location or metadata for any tracking, analytics, or advertising purposes.
5. Local History Database To improve your user experience, the app maintains a local history of your recent operations (e.g., operation type, original file size, new file size, and saved path). This history is stored in a secure local database within your device. It is completely private and is never synced or shared with us or any third party.
6. Third-Party Services Since our app operates offline and does not collect user data, we do not share, sell, or trade any personal information or files with third parties.
7. Children's Privacy Our application does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. Since the app functions entirely offline and does not collect any data, it is completely safe for users of all ages.
