Introduction Welcome to Flowy: Period & Cycle ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our mobile application (the "App").
1. Data Storage & Local Processing (Your Health Data) Flowy is designed as an "offline-first" application. All sensitive personal and health-related data you enter into the App—including but not limited to menstrual cycle dates, moods, physical symptoms, vaginal discharge, and pregnancy tracking data—is stored locally on your device.
We do NOT collect, transmit, sync, or store your health data on any external servers or cloud databases.
You have full control over your data. If you uninstall the App or lose your device without manually backing up your data, your data will be permanently deleted.
2. Information Automatically Collected (Third-Party Services) While your health data remains on your device, the App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you, primarily for serving advertisements.
Google AdMob: We use Google AdMob to display ads in the App. AdMob may collect and use data such as your device's Advertising ID, IP address, device model, and usage data to serve relevant advertisements.

3. Permissions Required The App may request the following device permissions to function correctly:
Internet Access: Required solely to load and display advertisements via Google AdMob and to generate smart share cards.
Storage Access (Optional): Required only if you choose to export or import your backup data (JSON/CSV files) to or from your device's local storage.
4. Data Security Because your personal health data is stored locally on your device, the security of this data depends on the security of your device. We recommend securing your device with a password, PIN, or biometric lock to protect your sensitive information from unauthorized access.
5. Children’s Privacy The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to ensure it is deleted (though as stated, we do not collect data on our servers).
6. Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
