This Privacy Policy explains how Flash Pulse ("Flash Pulse," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the Flash Pulse mobile application (the "App"). The App is operated by the developer identified on its applicable app-store listing.
Flash Pulse is designed to work primarily on your device. You do not need to create a Flash Pulse account, and we do not operate a server that receives your saved patterns, timers, favorites, light scenes, or backup files.
The free version of the App may display ads supplied by Google. When the advertising components are permitted to operate, Google may process device and usage information as described below. Purchases are processed by the app store through which you obtained the App; we do not receive or store your full payment-card details.
The App may store the following information locally on your device:
language and other App preferences;
custom flash patterns and timer presets;
favorites, multi-stage routines, and saved light scenes.
This information remains on your device unless you deliberately export or share it. You can remove it by deleting the relevant content in the App, clearing the App's storage where your operating system provides that option, or uninstalling the App. Uninstalling the App generally deletes locally stored App data that you have not exported.
The App requests camera permission solely because supported operating systems expose the device torch through camera-related APIs. Flash Pulse uses that permission to control the flashlight. The App does not use this permission to take, save, or upload photographs or video.
If you import a backup, the App uses the system file picker to access only the file you select. If you export or share a backup, the App creates a JSON file and passes it to the operating system's share interface. The App does not upload that file to a Flash Pulse server.
Once you choose a third-party destination—such as an email provider, messaging app, or cloud-storage service—that provider handles the exported file under its own terms and privacy policy. You are responsible for reviewing the contents of a backup before sharing it and for choosing an appropriate recipient.
Free users may see banner ads provided through the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob). Before requesting ads, the App uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to request or record privacy choices where required. You may be able to revisit those choices through Ad Privacy Options in the App's settings.
Flash Pulse currently requests non-personalized ads and does not request Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission or access the IDFA for tracking. "Non-personalized" does not mean that no information is processed. Depending on your device, region, consent choices, and Google's configuration, Google and its advertising partners may automatically process information such as:
IP address, which may be used to estimate a device's general location;
device, app, and account-related identifiers;
ad impressions and other advertising data;
App launches, taps, and other product interactions; and
diagnostic and performance information, such as crash data, launch time, hangs, and energy use.
This information may be used to deliver and measure ads, limit how often an ad is shown, perform analytics, prevent fraud and abuse, and maintain service security. Google states that Mobile Ads SDK data is encrypted in transit. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
If the App cannot lawfully request ads, or UMP reports that ads may not yet be requested, Flash Pulse does not initialize the advertising SDK or request an ad. Pro users do not receive ads from the App.
Flash Pulse Pro is offered as a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase where available. Apple currently processes purchases through the App Store. The App uses StoreKit to request localized product information and determine whether the store account has a current entitlement, including whether a purchase has been refunded or revoked.
Apple processes payment credentials, billing details, transaction records, and store-account information under its own terms and privacy policy. Flash Pulse does not receive or store your full payment-card number. For more information, see Apple's Privacy Policy and App Store and Privacy.
Your operating system and app store may keep transaction or entitlement information on your device so that the App can confirm Pro access, including when you are offline.
If purchases are later made available through another app store, that store will process the transaction under its own terms and privacy policy.
If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message, attachments, App version, and purchase or troubleshooting details. Please do not send payment-card numbers, passwords, health information, or other information that is not needed to resolve your request.
We use support information only to respond, troubleshoot, protect against fraud or abuse, and comply with legal obligations. We retain it only for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes and then delete or de-identify it, unless a longer period is required by law or needed to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, information is processed:
to perform a contract with you, such as providing purchased functionality or responding to a support request;
with your consent, including certain advertising-related processing where consent is required;
for legitimate interests, such as securing the App, preventing fraud, diagnosing failures, and maintaining functionality, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights; or
to comply with a legal obligation.
We do not use your locally saved patterns, timers, favorites, or light scenes for advertising or profiling.
We do not sell personal information for money. Information may be disclosed only in the following circumstances:
Service providers and platforms. Google may process advertising and consent information, and the applicable app store may process purchase information, as described above.
At your direction. Information is sent to a third-party app or service when you choose to export or share it.
Legal and safety reasons. Information may be disclosed if reasonably necessary to comply with law or valid legal process, enforce our terms, investigate fraud or abuse, or protect the rights, property, or safety of users or others.
Business transfers. If responsibility for the App is transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or asset sale, relevant information may be transferred subject to this Policy and applicable law.
Some privacy laws define certain advertising disclosures as "sharing," "targeted advertising," or a "sale" even when no money is exchanged. Where those laws apply, you may exercise available choices through the UMP privacy form in the App, your device's privacy or advertising settings, or by contacting us.
Apple, Google, their vendors, and any service you select for sharing may process information in countries other than the one in which you live. Where required, those providers use recognized safeguards for international transfers. Their own privacy policies provide further details about where and how they process information.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the information handled by the App. For example, user-created content is kept locally by default, and Google states that Mobile Ads SDK data is encrypted in transit. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information; withdraw consent; obtain a portable copy; or appeal a decision concerning a privacy request. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
You can exercise many choices directly:
delete local data in the App or by uninstalling it;
use Ad Privacy Options when that option is available;
change camera permission in system settings;
manage advertising identifiers and privacy choices in device settings; and
manage purchases, transaction history, and refund requests through the applicable app store.
Because Flash Pulse has no user accounts and does not receive your locally stored content, we generally cannot access or delete that content remotely. For information held by Apple, Google, or a sharing destination, submit your request directly to that provider. For information you sent in a support request, contact us using the method in Section 11. We may need to verify your request and may retain limited information where permitted or required by law.
The App is not directed to children under 13, or to a higher minimum age where local law requires it, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through a support communication, please contact us so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete it. A parent or guardian should supervise a minor's use of the App, particularly its flashlight, strobe, sharing, and purchasing features.
The App may present store interfaces, ads, or links operated by third parties. Their information practices are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, not this Policy. We encourage you to review them before providing information.
We may update this Policy to reflect changes to the App, third-party services, or applicable law. We will change the Last updated date above and provide any additional notice required by law. If a change materially affects how previously collected personal information is used, we will seek consent where required.
For privacy questions or requests, contact the Flash Pulse developer using the support contact displayed on the App's official app-store product page. Please include "Flash Pulse Privacy Request" in the subject line and identify the country or region in which you live so that we can respond under the applicable law.
