SKB Infotech we operates the Finance Toolkit mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, how it's used, and your choices regarding it.
Finance Toolkit is built to work entirely on your device. We do not require you to create an account, and we do not operate any server that collects or stores your personal information.
2. Information We Collect
We do not collect, transmit, or have access to any personal information.
The App includes calculators for EMI, Fixed Deposits, Recurring Deposits, GST, Cash Counting, Age, and Currency Conversion. Any values you enter (loan amounts, interest rates, dates of birth, etc.) and any results you choose to save to History are stored only on your device, using your device's local storage. This data:
Is never sent to us or to any server we control
Is never shared with any third party
Remains on your device until you clear it yourself (via the app's "Clear history" option, or by clearing the app's storage/uninstalling it through Android settings)
We have no way to view, access, recover, or delete this data on your behalf, since it never leaves your device.
The Currency Converter feature is the only part of the App that connects to the internet. To display live exchange rates, it sends the currency codes and amount you enter (e.g., "100 USD to INR") to Frankfurter (frankfurter.dev), a free, open-source exchange rate API. This request does not include your name, device identifiers, location, or any other personal information — only the currency conversion query itself. We encourage you to review Frankfurter's own terms if you'd like more detail on how they handle requests.
No other feature in the App connects to the internet or any external service.
4. Advertising and Analytics
The App does not contain advertisements, advertising SDKs, analytics tools, or tracking software of any kind. We do not use cookies, device fingerprinting, or any similar tracking technology.
Because all your data stays on your device, its security is tied to your device's own security (screen lock, encryption, etc.). We recommend keeping your device secured, since we have no ability to protect or recover data stored locally by the App.
Finance Toolkit is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because the App does not collect personal information from any user at all.
7. Your Choices and Rights
Since we don't collect or store your data on any server, there is no account data for us to export or delete. To remove any data the App has stored locally:
Use the "Clear history" option within each calculator, or
Clear the App's storage/data through your device's Settings, or
Uninstall the App
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect a new feature. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Effective Date" above. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
