This Privacy Policy describes how CupSight ("the App"), developed by Technē Studio, handles your information.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Introduction
CupSight is a Cooking Unit Converter and Visualizer. While we prioritize user privacy, the App utilizes industry-standard third-party services to provide advertising, fulfill purchases, and offer ingredient recommendations.
2. Information Collection and Use
While the developer does not personally collect or store your personal data (such as names or emails), the App uses third-party SDKs that collect information to function:
Advertising Data: The App uses Google AdMob. To show relevant ads, Google may collect and use your device’s Advertising ID (Google AD_ID), Device information, Usage data, and approximate location data. You can reset or opt-out of this via your Android device settings.
Google Play Services: CupSight uses Google Play Services, which may collect diagnostic and performance data. This is governed by the same Google Privacy Policy linked below.
3. User Data & Local Storage
CupSight stores your Favorites and History locally on your device using browser local storage. This data never leaves your device, is never transmitted to any server, and is not accessible by the developer.
4. Permissions
CupSight requires the following technical permissions:
Internet Access: Required to load advertisements and process in-app purchases.
Advertising ID Permission: Required by AdMob to provide personalized advertising and prevent fraud.
5. Affiliate Disclosure
Affiliate Links: The App includes links to King Arthur Baking Co. These are currently direct links. In the future, CupSight may participate in the Awin Affiliate Network, through which the developer may earn a small commission on qualifying purchases at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships are disclosed in accordance with FTC guidelines.

7. Children’s Privacy
CupSight is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent and believe your child has provided data, please contact us.
8. Data Deletion
Since CupSight does not require an account, we do not store personal user data on our own servers. To stop the collection of advertising data, you may uninstall the App or limit ad tracking in your Android system settings.
