3. Third-party API calls: When you request an explanation for a sentence, we send that sentence to Google's Gemini API using the API key you provide. This data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS.

• tabs: To access the current YouTube video

• scripting: To inject scripts needed for subtitle capture and video processing

• host_permissions for youtube.com: To interact with YouTube pages

Limited Use Disclosure

This extension's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
