All files you open – PDF, Word, Excel, or PowerPoint – remain solely on your local storage. We never upload, copy, or move any file content to external servers.
No user registration, login, or account is required to use the application.
No personal data is transmitted to any third party.
The app contains no analytics, tracking, or crash‑reporting frameworks that capture user‑identifiable information.
2. Permissions
We request only the permission essential for the app‘s core functionality:
Storage access – this allows you to browse, open, and manage documents stored on your local storage. Files are accessed only when you manually select them.
We do not ask for camera, microphone, contacts, location, phone, or SMS permissions.
3. Local File Handling
Documents – all reading and processing occurs locally. No content is read, copied, or transferred outside your storage.
Favorites – starred files are saved as local markers; they are not synced to any server.
File metadata – names, sizes, and storage paths are shown only to you within the app and never leave your storage.
Sharing – when you share a file, the app triggers your system‘s native sharing interface. The file itself is handled by the sharing method you select; AuroraPDF does not intercept, cache, or store any shared content.
4. Offline Operation and Security
The app works completely offline. It does not require internet access, so no data can be transmitted over any network. All operations are performed on your own storage, giving you full control and keeping your documents private at all times.
5. No Third‑Party Services
AuroraPDF integrates no third‑party libraries that collect data. There are no advertisements, analytics providers, or external services – so your information never goes to anyone else.
6. Children‘s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect any information from minors. Because the app does not request any personal details, there is no risk of unintended data capture from children.
