This Privacy Policy describes how Focus Track ("the App"), developed by Okith Mokha, collects, uses, and stores information.

Focus Track is designed with your privacy in mind. All data generated and processed by the App is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers or any third-party servers by the core functionality of the App.
The types of data stored locally on your device include:
Study Session Data: This includes information about your focus sessions, such as the subject of the session, the durationInSeconds (how long you focused), the date and time of the session, breakDurationInSeconds (total time spent on breaks during a session), and breakCount (number of breaks taken). This data is stored using the Hive local database.
User Preferences and Settings: This includes your list of custom subjects for tracking and your brightness (dark/light mode) preference. This data is stored using SharedPreferences, a local key-value store.
The primary function of Focus Track is to provide a local time tracking and analysis tool. We explicitly state that the core application code does not send your personal study session data or subject lists to any external servers or services. Your data remains on your device.
The App uses certain third-party libraries and packages to provide its functionality. While the App's core logic does not transmit your personal data externally, these third-party components may, in some cases, collect anonymous diagnostic data or device information for purposes such as app stability, performance monitoring, or general analytics.
The key third-party packages used in Focus Track include:
Flutter Framework: The underlying framework itself and the Android/iOS operating systems may collect anonymous crash reports and usage data for diagnostic purposes. This is standard for all mobile applications.
hive_flutter: Used for efficient local data storage of study sessions. It does not transmit data externally.
shared_preferences: Used for local storage of user preferences and settings. It does not transmit data externally.
fl_chart: Used for displaying charts and visualizations of your study data. It does not collect or transmit any user data.
intl: Used for internationalization and date/time formatting. It does not collect or transmit any user data.
file_selector: Used for local file operations (exporting and importing your data). It does not transmit data externally.
We do not integrate with analytics services (like Google Analytics or Firebase Analytics) or advertising networks (like AdMob) that would typically collect user data for tracking or ad personalization.
We are committed to protecting the information stored on your device. While no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, we implement commercially acceptable means to protect your locally stored data. The security of your data largely depends on the security of your device itself.
Since your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it:
Access and Control: You can view all your recorded study sessions and subjects directly within the App.
Deletion: You can delete individual study sessions from the History screen. Uninstalling the App will remove all locally stored data.
Export/Import: The App provides functionality to export and import your study sessions and settings as a JSON file, allowing you to back up or transfer your data.
Focus Track is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will promptly delete it.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
