**Effective date: September 30, 2026**
This Privacy Policy describes how Ariel Richer, the operator and rights holder of the Fluxvid mobile application ("Fluxvid", "we", "us" or "our"), handles information when you install or use Fluxvid, buy something in it, contact support, or otherwise interact with our services (together, the "Service"). We are responsible for the personal information processed to run the Service.
Please read this Policy before you submit any photo, video or text to Fluxvid. If you do not agree with it, do not use the Service. Our Terms of Use are published at https://sites.google.com/view/termsofusefluxvid.
## 1. What Fluxvid does
Fluxvid is an AI-assisted creation app for iOS. Depending on the feature you pick, it lets you turn a text prompt into a short video or picture, apply ready-made templates to a photo you provide, and replace a face in a photo or a video clip with a face from a selfie (Face Swap). Finished results are shown in the app, kept in its on-device Library, and can be saved to your Photos library or shared.
Some steps happen entirely on your device: for example, the app finds face positions in a picture you selected so that you can choose which face to replace. The generation itself is not done on your phone. The media and instructions needed for a task are sent over an encrypted connection to our backend at fluxvid.click, processed there and by the AI processing providers described in Section 6, and the finished file is placed on our file server at fluxvid.space for the app to download.
We do not build or train AI models. Your photos, videos, prompts, face data and results are not used to train or fine-tune any model, by us or by anyone processing them on our behalf.
## 2. Information we process
### 2.1 Media and creative inputs
When you start a task we process the material you chose to submit: photos and videos from your library or camera, including any audio in a video, the selfie you use as a replacement face, reference photos, text prompts, the template you selected, output settings such as aspect ratio, and the working files, previews and task records needed to produce and deliver the result. Media can contain personal information about you and other people, including embedded metadata. Submit only material you have the right to use.
### 2.2 Face data
Face Swap and some templates operate on faces. On your device, the app detects where faces are located in the selected media so that you can pick one. On our side, the software identifies facial landmarks, contours, orientation and similar geometric characteristics of the source face and of the replacement face solely to carry out the transformation you asked for.
Fluxvid does not use face data to identify who you are, to verify your identity, to recognise you in other media, to build a profile of you, or to create any face database. We do not sell face data and we do not share it with advertising partners. Face data and the temporary files derived from it are removed under the retention limits in Section 7.
Before a face-related task is started, submitted photos pass an automated age check. Media that appears to show a person under 18 is rejected without further processing and no credits are charged.
### 2.3 Pseudonymous profile and service identifiers
Fluxvid has no user accounts and does not ask for your name, email address or password. Instead, our subscription provider Apphud assigns a random user identifier when the app is first launched. Our backend uses that identifier to keep your credit balance and your generation tasks together and issues a session token, which the app stores in the secure keychain of your device. A short form of this identifier is shown as "User ID" in Settings so that you can quote it to support.
The identifier is not tied to your name, but purchase or support records can link it to you. Deleting and reinstalling the app can create a new identifier; see Section 7.4.
### 2.4 Purchases and subscriptions
Subscriptions and credit packs are sold through Apple's in-app purchase system. Apple and Apphud provide us with the product bought, the transaction and renewal status, the storefront country, the price tier and a pseudonymous transaction identifier. We never receive your card number, billing address or Apple ID password.
### 2.5 Device and technical data
To operate and secure the Service, the app and our servers automatically receive limited technical information: device model and iOS version, app version and language, region and time zone, IP address and the approximate country derived from it, the identifier for vendors (IDFV), request and response timestamps, task status, error reports and diagnostic logs, and signals that help us spot fraud, automated abuse or attempts to bypass paid features. Advertising identifiers are covered separately in Section 2.7.
### 2.6 App permissions
Fluxvid asks for system permissions only when a feature needs them:
- **Camera** – to take a photo or record a clip for a task.
- **Microphone** – to record sound when you capture a video with the camera.
- **Photos** – to pick photos or videos for a task, and separately to save finished results to your library.
- **Notifications** – to show a local notification on your device when a result is ready. Fluxvid does not send remote push messages.
You can change each permission at any time in iOS Settings. Declining a permission only limits the feature that depends on it.
### 2.7 Advertising measurement and App Tracking Transparency
On first launch Fluxvid shows Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. The only purpose is to measure which advertising campaigns bring people to Fluxvid.
If you allow tracking, the advertising identifier of your device (IDFA), together with app install, app open and purchase events, may be shared with Meta Platforms (through the Facebook SDK built into the app) and with Apphud so that installs and purchases can be attributed to advertising campaigns. If you decline, the IDFA is not read and no cross-app tracking takes place; the Facebook SDK then operates in its limited mode and receives only non-identifying app events. Declining has no effect on your ability to use Fluxvid or its paid features.
Your media, prompts, face data and results are never used for advertising and are never sent to advertising partners. You can change your decision at any time in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security, then Tracking.
### 2.8 Support communications
If you write to us, we process the email address, User ID and message you submit, together with any files or details you attach. The in-app "Contact support" button opens a Google Form; entries you submit there are stored by Google Forms on our behalf. You can also email us directly at the address in Section 15.
If you flag a result with the in-app report button, the reason you chose and the technical identifier of that task are recorded in our logs for review.
## 3. Why we process information
We use the information above to:
- receive, run and deliver generation, template and Face Swap tasks;
- detect face positions so that you can choose a face to replace;
- keep your pseudonymous profile, session, subscription status and credit balance;
- show you results and maintain the Library on your device;
- process purchases, restore subscriptions and correct credit balances;
- reply to support requests, reports and complaints;
- diagnose failures, monitor performance and improve reliability;
- measure advertising campaigns, only with your ATT permission;
- protect users, the Service and our providers from fraud, abuse and security threats;
- enforce our Terms of Use; and
- comply with legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on the performance of our agreement with you, our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the Service, compliance with legal obligations, and your consent where consent is required (for example, ATT permission). You may withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect processing that took place before withdrawal.
## 4. What we do not do
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising except for the advertising measurement that you can switch on or off through the ATT setting. We do not use uploaded media, prompts, face data or generated results to train, fine-tune or evaluate AI models, and our processing providers are not permitted by us to do so either. We do not use automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.
## 5. How AI processing works
The app sends the inputs required for a task to our backend at fluxvid.click. The backend checks the request, runs the automated age check on submitted photos, deducts the credit cost once a task is accepted for processing, and forwards the necessary inputs to the processing capacity that handles that type of task: GPU rendering servers operated for us, external AI model providers such as Kie.ai for prompt-based image and video generation, and a specialised face-swap processing service acting on our behalf. Each provider receives only the inputs needed for the task and returns the result to us. The finished file is placed on our file server at fluxvid.space, from where the app downloads it into your Library.
AI systems are probabilistic. Results may be inaccurate, unexpected or unsuitable, and a prompt or photo may be refused by a content filter. Do not include confidential information in a prompt, and only submit media that you are comfortable processing through an online AI service.
## 6. Who receives information
We disclose information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes in this Policy.
### 6.1 Service providers
- **Apple** – App Store distribution, StoreKit payments, subscription management and refunds, under Apple's own privacy policy at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/.
- **Apphud** – pseudonymous user identifier, subscription entitlements, purchase events, paywall configuration and, with ATT permission, install attribution. See https://apphud.com/data-protection.
- **Meta Platforms (Facebook SDK)** – app install, app open and purchase events for advertising measurement; the IDFA only with your ATT permission. See https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/.
- **Google Firebase** – Cloud Storage hosts the template previews and onboarding clips that the app downloads; Google records the technical details of each download. See https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
- **Google Forms** – stores support requests submitted through the in-app support form.
- **AI processing providers and infrastructure** – GPU rendering servers rented from cloud providers, external model providers such as Kie.ai, a face-swap processing service, and the hosting and file-storage infrastructure behind fluxvid.click and fluxvid.space. They receive only what a task needs and are engaged to process it on our behalf.
Providers that process information for us must protect it, follow our instructions, use it only to deliver the agreed service and delete or return it when it is no longer needed. Apple, Google and Meta also act as independent services when you interact with them directly, for example when you pay through the App Store; those interactions are governed by their own policies.
### 6.2 Legal and safety reasons
We may preserve or disclose information when we reasonably believe it is necessary to comply with a law, regulation or valid legal request, to protect a person from harm, to investigate fraud or misuse, to enforce our Terms, or to defend legal claims.
### 6.3 Business changes
If Fluxvid is sold, merged, financed or reorganised, information may be transferred to the successor, who remains bound by the commitments in this Policy for the information transferred.
### 6.4 At your request
We share information when you ask us to, for example when you export a result to another app or service. What happens to it there is governed by that service's rules.
## 7. Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described here. The limits below apply to working and backup copies on our systems alike.
### 7.1 Source media, prompts and processing data
Photos, videos, selfies, reference images, prompts, face data and temporary working files are kept on our servers only while the task is being processed and are removed by our automated clean-up afterwards. In every case they are deleted no later than 72 hours after submission, whether the task succeeded, failed, was rejected or was never completed. Inputs are used only for the task you submitted and are not reused for another task.
### 7.2 Generated results
Finished videos and pictures are stored on our file server so that the app can download them. They are deleted 48 to 72 hours after completion and are never kept longer than 72 hours. Download or save any result you want to keep before that time runs out.
### 7.3 Copies on your device
Results downloaded into Fluxvid's Library stay in the app's own storage on your device until you delete them from the Library or remove the app. Results you saved to Photos, exported to Files or shared with another app are separate copies that you manage there. Uninstalling Fluxvid removes its Library and cache but does not remove those separate copies.
### 7.4 Profile, purchases and credits
The pseudonymous identifier, session token, subscription status, purchase records and credit balance are retained for as long as they are needed to provide access, administer purchases and credits, handle disputes and meet accounting obligations. The session token lives in the device keychain and may survive an uninstall according to iOS behaviour. If a reinstall or a new device produces a new identifier, your previous balance stays associated with the previous identifier; contact support with your old User ID and we will reconcile it.
### 7.5 Logs, support and security records
Technical logs, report records, advertising attribution records (where permitted) and support correspondence are kept only as long as reasonably necessary for their purpose, typically for a limited period after the task or request, unless a longer period is required to resolve a dispute or comply with law. Logs are never used to keep copies of media, prompts, face data or results beyond the limits above.
## 8. International processing
Fluxvid's servers and providers may process information in countries other than the one you live in, including the United States, where privacy rules may differ from those at home. Where the law requires it, we rely on recognised transfer safeguards such as standard contractual clauses and require recipients to protect information appropriately.
## 9. Security
We protect information with encrypted connections, access controls on our servers, secure keychain storage for the session token, provider access limited to what a task needs, and automatic deletion under Section 7. No online service can promise absolute security, so please protect your device and Apple account and share results only with people you trust.
## 10. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to certain processing, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.
Without contacting us, you can also:
- decline or revoke camera, microphone, photo and notification permissions in iOS Settings;
- allow or withdraw tracking permission in iOS Settings under Privacy & Security, then Tracking;
- delete items from the in-app Library;
- manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings; and
- remove the app, which deletes the on-device Library and cache.
To make a request, email Arielricher@icloud.com with the subject "Fluxvid Privacy Request" and include the User ID shown in Settings. Because Fluxvid does not hold names or email addresses, the User ID, a task identifier or Apple purchase details are usually the only way to locate records that belong to you. We may ask for reasonable verification, and we may keep information where the law requires or allows it. We reply within the time limits set by applicable law.
## 11. Additional information for certain regions
**European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Switzerland.** Ariel Richer is the controller of the processing described in this Policy. The legal bases are listed in Section 3. You may complain to the data protection authority in your country of residence.
**United States.** We do not sell personal information and do not process it for targeted advertising as those terms are defined in US state privacy laws, other than the advertising measurement that depends on your ATT opt-in. You can opt out at any time by withdrawing tracking permission in iOS Settings. Residents of California and other states with privacy laws may exercise the rights in Section 10 by contacting us.
## 12. Children
Fluxvid is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Where local law sets a higher age for consenting to online data processing, that higher age applies. Media that appears to depict a person under 18 is rejected by our automated checks. If you believe a child has submitted information to Fluxvid, contact us and we will investigate and delete it where appropriate.
## 13. Links and other services
Results you share leave Fluxvid and are handled by the app or platform you chose under its own rules. Links to third-party websites, including the App Store and our support form, are governed by those services' privacy practices, which this Policy does not control.
## 14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy when the Service, our providers or the law change. The effective date at the top will be revised, and where the law requires it we will give additional notice or ask for consent before applying a material change to information already collected. The English version of this Policy prevails over any translation.
