DailyEase is a utility application that provides features such as weather updates, dictionary search, note-taking, contact access, and BMI calculation. We are designed to function primarily offline with minimal data access and without collecting personal user information.

• Phone number

• Login credentials

We do not use user accounts, analytics tracking, or advertising SDKs.

3. Information Accessed by the App

To provide core functionality, the app may request access to the following:

a) Location Information

• Used to fetch weather data based on your current location

• Accessed only when the weather feature is used

• Not stored, tracked, or shared by us

b) Phone Functionality

• Used to enable direct calling from within the app

• No call logs, recordings, or personal data are stored

c) Media / Storage Access

• Used to access images or files if selected by the user

• Data remains entirely on the user’s device

• We do not upload, access, or share user files

d) Local Data (Notes)

• Notes created in the app are stored locally on the device using secure storage (Room database)

• This data is not transmitted or shared externally

4. How We Use Information

The app uses accessed data strictly to:

• Provide weather updates

• Enable dictionary search functionality

• Support note storage locally

• Allow calling functionality within the app

We do not use data for advertising, profiling, or analytics.

5. Third-Party Services

DailyEase uses trusted third-party APIs to provide certain features:

• Dictionary service via Free Dictionary API

• Weather service via OpenWeather

These services process user requests (such as search queries or location-based weather data) to deliver results. We do not control how these services handle data. Users are encouraged to review their respective privacy policies:

• Location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION)
  → To provide location-based weather updates

• Phone (CALL_PHONE)
  → To enable direct calling from the app

• Media/Storage (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE)
  → To access user-selected images or files

• Internet (INTERNET)
  → To fetch data from external APIs

All permissions are used strictly for app functionality and are never used for tracking or data collection.

7. Data Storage and Security

• All user data (such as notes) is stored locally on the device

• We do not maintain servers or cloud storage

• We do not sell, rent, or share user data with any third parties

8. User Rights and Control

Users have full control over their data:

• Permissions can be granted or revoked at any time through device settings

• App data can be deleted anytime by uninstalling the app or clearing storage

9. Children’s Privacy

DailyEase is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect, store, or process any personal data from individuals under 18 years of age.
