OVERVIEW
Content Repurposer is a Chrome extension that reads text from web pages you visit and generates repurposed content formats (LinkedIn posts, Twitter/X threads, email sections, key takeaways) using an AI model.
This policy explains what data is processed, where it goes, and how it is handled.

DATA PROCESSED WHEN YOU USE THE EXTENSION
When you click "Repurpose this page", the extension reads the visible text content of the current web page (document.body.innerText or the main article content). This text is sent to a Cloudflare Worker operated by Scalestair (Sebastian Vogel Consulting) for processing.
The Cloudflare Worker forwards the text to the Anthropic API (Claude AI model) to generate the output formats. The generated content is returned to your browser and displayed in the extension popup.
What is NOT collected or stored:
- The page text is processed in transit and is not stored permanently by the Cloudflare Worker or by Scalestair.
- No browsing history, URLs, cookies, or personal information is collected.
- No account or login is required to use the extension.

USAGE DATA (LOCAL ONLY)
The extension stores the following data locally in your browser using chrome.storage.local:
- Monthly repurposing count (to enforce Free plan limits)
- Your selected tone preference (Professional, Casual, or Thought Leader)
This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.

SUBSCRIPTION AND PAYMENT DATA
The Pro plan is managed through ExtensionPay. If you subscribe, ExtensionPay and Stripe process your payment information. Scalestair does not receive or store your credit card details.

PERMISSIONS
The extension requires the following Chrome permissions:
- activeTab: to read the text content of the current page when you click the extension
- scripting: to inject a script that extracts the page text
- storage: to save your usage count and tone preference locally
No other data is accessed.
