Privacy Policy for BMC Steps

The BMC Steps app is built as a Free service. This service is provided by (Ba9i) and is intended for use "AS IS."

1. Data Collection and Use

We fully respect your privacy and follow a strict "No Data Collection" policy:

• Personal Data: The app does not collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (such as names, email addresses, or phone numbers).

• Model Data: All data you enter to create a "Business Model Canvas" is stored locally and exclusively on your device. We have no access to this data, and it is never uploaded to any external servers.

• Offline Functionality: The app is designed to work offline to ensure your business planning remains private and under your total control.

2. File Sharing and Exporting

The app includes a feature that allows you to export your models as PDF files.

• User-Initiated Sharing: When you use the "Share" or "Print" feature, the app passes the generated file to the Android system's sharing intent.

• External Apps: This allows you to voluntarily share your file with third-party applications (such as Gmail, WhatsApp, or Drive).

• Control: This process is triggered only by your explicit action. BMC Steps does not share any data in the background or without your direct command.

3. Permissions

The app requests specific permissions for the following purposes:

• Storage Access: To save and export the PDF files you generate to your device's "Download" or "Documents" folder.

• Note for Android 13+: On newer versions of Android, the app uses modern system frameworks to ensure your other files remain private while allowing you to save your business models.

4. Data Deletion & User Control

Since BMC Steps is a fully offline application and does not store data on external servers, you have total control over your information. To delete all data associated with the app, you can:

1. Clear Cache/Data: Go to your Android Device Settings > Apps > BMC Steps > Storage > Clear Data.

2. Uninstall: Uninstalling the application will permanently remove all locally stored business model drafts from your device.

5. Government Disclaimer

BMC Steps is an independent technical tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representative of any government entity or official institution. Any information entered or generated is the sole responsibility of the user.

6. Third-Party Services

The app may use services like Google Play Services for stability and performance statistics. These services may collect device identifiers governed by their own respective privacy policies.

7. Children's Privacy

The app does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Since all data is stored locally, we do not possess any child-related data.
