Storage access – used solely to let you browse, open, and manage your documents from local storage. Files are accessed only when you explicitly select them.

Documents – all reading and processing occur locally. The app does not scan, copy, or transfer file content outside your storage environment.

File metadata – file names, sizes, and storage paths are displayed only to you within the app and remain on your local storage.
Sharing – when you share a file, the app activates your system’s native sharing interface. The file itself is managed by the sharing method you choose; Aurora File Reader does not intercept, cache, or store shared content.

The app operates entirely offline. It does not request internet access, so no data can be sent over any network. All actions are performed on your own storage, keeping your documents under your control and private at all times.
