ArrowPDF is designed with your privacy in mind. This Privacy Policy explains our approach to handling user data and our commitment to full transparency, in line with Google Play‘s Developer Program Policies.
1. What We Do Not Collect
ArrowPDF does not gather, retain, or transmit any personal information. There is no registration, no login, and no profile creation. All documents you open – whether PDF, Word, Excel, or PowerPoint – stay strictly on your local storage. We never upload, copy, or move any file content to external servers. The app also does not embed any analytics, tracking, or crash reporters that could capture personal data.
2. Permissions We Use
We ask for only one permission: storage access. This is used exclusively to let you browse and open your own documents from your local storage. The app does not request camera, microphone, contacts, location, phone, or SMS permissions.
3. How Your Files and Data Remain Local
Documents are opened and rendered locally. No background scanning or content extraction occurs.
Favorites are saved as simple local markers – they are never synced anywhere.
File details (name, size, path) are shown only to you, within the app, and never leave your storage.
Sharing uses your system‘s native share sheet; ArrowPDF merely triggers that action and does not intermediate, cache, or store any shared content.
4. Offline and Secure
The app operates completely offline. It does not request internet access, so no data can be transmitted over any network. All processing is done on your own storage, giving you full control and keeping your documents private at all times.
5. No Third‑Party Services
ArrowPDF incorporates no third‑party libraries that collect data. There are no advertisements, no analytics providers, and no external services integrated – so your information never goes to anyone else.
6. Children‘s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect any data from minors. Because the app does not ask for any personal details, there is no risk of unintended data capture from children.
7. Policy Updates
If we ever change this policy, we will update the date at the top. We encourage you to check it occasionally, but rest assured that any future version will remain equally transparent.
