Apply Ready is provided by Gigasonet.

This Privacy Policy explains how the Apply Ready Android application (com.gigasonet.applyreadypdf) handles your information and protects your privacy.

📄 Your Documents

Apply Ready helps you prepare photos, signatures, scanned documents, identification documents, PDFs, and Word documents.

The app accesses only the files that you choose or capture and uses them to perform the tools you select.

🔒 Your documents stay on your device

The following operations are performed locally on your device:

• Document editing
• Cropping and resizing
• Compression
• Page organization
• PDF creation
• PDF conversion
• Optical character recognition (OCR)

Gigasonet does not receive your selected documents through these tools.

This includes:

• Document images
• PDF passwords
• Signatures
• Fingerprint impression images
• Extracted document text

Apply Ready does not automatically upload these files to a Gigasonet server.

Local Storage

Selected files may temporarily or permanently be copied into the app's private storage when required for processing.

The app may locally store:

• Prepared files
• Drafts
• File names
• Editing settings
• Thumbnails
• Reusable private originals

This allows Apply Ready to display your files and let you continue unfinished work.

Your language, appearance, and home-screen preferences are also stored locally.

Exporting and Sharing Files

Saving a file to a folder or sharing it with another app is your choice.

If you export a file to a:

• Cloud storage provider
• Messaging app
• Email app
• File manager
• Other third-party destination

that provider may upload, process, or retain the exported file according to its own privacy policy.

Apply Ready does not submit documents to examination portals or government portals on your behalf.

📷 Camera, Microphone & Device Authentication

Camera Access

Camera access is used only when you choose to photograph a document or image.

You can use an existing file instead of the camera.

File and photo selection use Android's selection interfaces.

Apply Ready does not request broad access to your entire photo library or all files on your device.

🎤 Microphone & Voice Typing

Microphone access is used only when you start voice typing.

Voice typing uses the speech-recognition service configured on your phone.

Depending on your:

• Speech service provider
• Language
• Device
• Device settings

audio may be transmitted to that provider's servers for transcription.

Voice typing is not guaranteed to work offline.

Gigasonet:

• Does not operate the speech-recognition service
• Does not store your voice recordings on its own servers

Apply Ready receives the recognized text and inserts it into the field you are editing.

You can always:

• Type instead
• Stop voice input
• Revoke microphone permission through Android settings

Your speech provider may process audio, transcripts, and related technical information according to its own privacy policy.

If your device uses Google's speech service:

Other speech providers may have different privacy policies.

Avoid speaking information that you do not want your speech-service provider to process.

🔐 Biometric & Device Authentication

Optional private-file unlocking uses Android's biometric or device-credential authentication.

Apply Ready receives only the authentication result.

The app cannot read, copy, or export the fingerprint pattern stored by your phone's fingerprint sensor.

A fingerprint impression image that you photograph or import is treated as a regular document image and remains locally handled like your other selected files.

🔎 On-Device OCR & Google Technical Information

Apply Ready's Find Text feature uses bundled Google ML Kit text recognition.

OCR happens on your device

Document images and recognized text are processed on your device rather than being sent to Google for recognition.

ML Kit may send certain technical information to Google, including:

• Device and app information
• Installation identifier
• Performance measurements
• OCR configuration
• Feature events
• Error codes

This technical information is used for purposes such as diagnostics, usage analysis, and API maintenance.

🌐 Internet Connections

Apply Ready contacts Gigasonet's website to determine whether an app update or maintenance notice is available.

The request identifies the app package and may include a cache-validation header.

Your documents are not included

The request does not attach or upload:

• Documents
• File names
• Document text
• Voice recordings
• Identity details
• User account information

The comparison between your installed version and the available version happens on your device.

Internet services necessarily receive basic connection information such as:

• IP address
• Requested address
• Request time

Gigasonet does not use Apply Ready's version-check request to upload your documents or create an advertising profile.

Website hosting or network providers may retain technical access or security logs according to their own configured practices.

Rules Catalog

If you choose to download an updated rules catalog, Apply Ready makes an HTTPS request to the catalog address you provide.

Opening an external website, Play Store page, cloud service, or other external destination uses that provider's services and privacy practices.

Most document-processing tools in Apply Ready work offline.

Internet access may be required for:

• Voice typing
• Update checks
• Rules catalog downloads
• External websites and services

🔔 Notifications, Advertising & Accounts

Notification permission allows Apply Ready to display local notifications, such as when a file has been successfully saved.

The app does not use a push-messaging service to send your saved documents to Gigasonet.

🚫 No Advertising

The current version of Apply Ready does not contain:

• Advertising
• Advertising SDKs
• Gigasonet account registration
• Social login
• Payment collection
• Separate Gigasonet analytics SDK
• Separate Gigasonet crash-reporting SDK

Google OCR technical reporting and your device's speech-recognition service are explained elsewhere in this Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your documents

Gigasonet does not sell your documents or use your documents for advertising.

Apply Ready does not request access to your:

• Contacts
• SMS messages
• Call history
• Calendar
• Device location

Information appearing inside a document that you select remains part of that document.

It is not automatically extracted and sent to Gigasonet.

🛡️ Storage & Security

App-managed files are stored inside Android's app-private storage.

Private Collection Encryption

Reusable originals that you explicitly save in the private collection are encrypted using:

AES-GCM encryption + Android Keystore

Ordinary working files, drafts, previews, and exports are not necessarily encrypted with this same private-collection encryption key.

Exported files are protected according to the security provided by the destination you choose.

PDF password protection applies only when you specifically use that feature.

Additional Security Features

You can enable device authentication for your private collection.

Screenshot protection is enabled by default and can be changed from Settings.

Apply Ready also:

• Disables Android cloud backup for its app data
• Requests exclusion of app data from device transfer
• Uses HTTPS for app-controlled network requests

Files that you manually export to another storage provider may be independently backed up by that provider.

Google states that ML Kit technical reporting also uses HTTPS.

Your device's speech provider and other external destinations have their own security practices.

No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

🗑️ Retention & Deletion

App-managed documents and drafts remain stored locally while they are required for your saved files or ongoing work.

You can delete:

• Prepared files
• Drafts
• Private originals

directly through Apply Ready.

Clear Private Data

To remove app-managed working files, prepared files, drafts, and private originals, use:

Settings → Clear private data

You can also use:

Android Settings → Apps → Apply Ready → Storage → Clear storage

or uninstall Apply Ready.

These actions remove the app's private data from the device.

Exported Files

Files you previously exported to:

• Downloads
• Another folder
• Cloud storage
• Messaging apps
• Email apps
• Other applications

are separate copies.

You must delete those copies from their respective destination.

Uninstalling Apply Ready does not automatically delete files that you previously exported or shared.

Temporary previews and sharing files are removed during the app's cleanup lifecycle when appropriate.

Files still required by saved work may remain.

Deletion uses normal file-removal mechanisms and does not guarantee forensic secure erasure.

Google OCR technical information and speech-service data are retained according to their respective providers' policies.

Gigasonet cannot delete a document it never received, nor can Gigasonet directly remove information held by a separate speech, storage, or other third-party provider.

Apply Ready does not require users to:

• Create an account
• Enter their age

Gigasonet does not intentionally request children's personal information.
