INTRODUCTION
AI Pictures ("we", "our", or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our application.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Device Information:
• Device ID: A unique identifier generated for your device to provide authentication
• App version and platform information
• Push notification token (if you enable notifications)
Photos and Content:
• Original photos you upload: Sent to our cloud servers for AI processing. Automatically deleted within 24 hours after upload.
• AI-generated images and videos: Stored permanently in your account until you manually delete them
• Generation history: Task status, timestamps, and associated metadata
Usage Information:
• Credit balance and transaction history
• Subscription status and purchase records
• App usage patterns for service improvement
Information We Do NOT Collect:
• No personal identification (name, email, phone number)
• No location tracking
• No social media connections
• No contact list access
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use collected information for the following purposes:
• Service Delivery: Process your photos to generate AI-powered images and videos
• Account Management: Manage your device-based account, credits, and subscriptions
• Notifications: Send push notifications when your generations are complete (only if enabled)
• Service Improvement: Analyze usage patterns to improve app performance and features
• Customer Support: Respond to your inquiries and technical issues
• Transaction Processing: Handle purchases through Apple In-App Purchase system
3. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
• Your data is stored securely on cloud infrastructure with industry-standard encryption
• Generated images and videos are stored with unique identifiers accessible only to you
• We use secure CDN (Content Delivery Network) for fast and reliable image delivery
• Original uploaded photos are processed and may be temporarily stored for generation purposes
• All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption
• Access to your data is restricted to authorized systems and personnel only
4. AI PROCESSING AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
• Your photos are sent to third-party AI service providers for processing
• Photos are used ONLY for generating your requested images/videos
• We do NOT use your photos for marketing, advertising, or training AI models
• Third-party processors do not retain or use your photos beyond the generation workflow
• Original photos are automatically deleted from our servers within 24 hours
4.1 FACE DATA SPECIFIC DISCLOSURES
When you upload photos that may contain facial images:
Collection:
• We collect photos that may include faces, but do NOT extract facial recognition metrics (such as face embeddings, biometric identifiers, or face mapping data). Photos are processed as complete images only.
No Long-Term Retention:
• Original uploaded photos containing face data are NOT retained. They are automatically and permanently deleted from our servers within 24 hours after upload. Generated artistic images are stored, but these are transformations, not the original face data.
Third-Party Processing:
• Photos are transmitted to cloud-based AI image generation service providers for the sole purpose of creating artistic transformations (retro-style couple photos and Y2K aesthetic images) as you requested.
Third-Party Storage Practices:
• These third-party services temporarily hold photos ONLY during active processing (typically 2-10 minutes). They do NOT store face data after generation completes. Photos are processed in isolated, encrypted environments and immediately discarded upon completion.
Why We Share:
• Face data must be shared with AI processing services because generating artistic transformations requires analyzing the original photos. This is a technical necessity - without sending photos to AI services, the core functionality of the app cannot work.
Processing Duration:
• Third-party services retain photos only for the minimum time necessary to complete generation (usually under 10 minutes), then automatically delete them. There is no long-term storage, archival, or reuse of your photos by third parties.
What Happens to Face Data:
• Your original photos → Sent to AI service → Processed into artistic images → Original deleted by third party → Our servers delete within 24h → You receive only the generated artistic image
5. DATA SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information. However, we may disclose data in the following circumstances:
• Legal Requirements: If required by law, court order, or government request
• Service Providers: With trusted providers who assist in app operations (under strict confidentiality agreements)
• Business Transfers: In case of merger, acquisition, or asset sale (you will be notified)
• Protection of Rights: To protect our rights, property, or safety, and that of our users
6. DATA RETENTION
• Original uploaded photos: Automatically deleted from our servers within 24 hours after upload
• AI-generated images and videos: Stored permanently until you manually delete them individually, or use 'Delete All Content' to remove all at once
• Generation history: Maintained indefinitely to provide access to your generated content
• Transaction records: Retained as required for accounting and legal purposes
• Device data: Remains accessible if you reinstall the app on the same device
7. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
You have the following rights regarding your data:
• Access: View your generation history and account information within the app
• Deletion: Delete individual generated images/videos from your history
• Delete All Content: Use the 'Delete All Content' feature in Settings to permanently delete all generated images and videos from both your device and our servers
• Device Data: Since the app uses device-based authentication, uninstalling the app does not automatically delete server data. Use 'Delete All Content' before uninstalling for complete removal
• Notifications: Enable or disable push notifications at any time in settings
• Opt-Out: Stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it
8. PUSH NOTIFICATIONS
• We use Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) to notify you when generations complete
• Notifications are optional and can be disabled in iOS Settings or app settings
• We do not send promotional or marketing notifications
• Notification tokens are stored securely and used only for sending updates
9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
• The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13
• We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13
• If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with information, we will delete it immediately
• Parents who believe their child has provided information should contact us for deletion
10. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights:
• Right to Know: Request information about data we collect, use, and share
• Right to Delete: Request deletion of your personal information
• Right to Opt-Out: We do not sell personal information
• Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights
11. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS
Your data may be stored and processed in data centers located in various countries. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to countries outside your country of residence, which may have different data protection laws.
12. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. We will notify you of significant changes through the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
