This Privacy Policy explains how AI Photo & Video ("the App", "we", "us") handles your information. By using the App, you agree to this Policy.
1. No account, anonymous by design
The App does not require you to create an account or provide your name, email address, phone number, or password. When you first open the App, we create an anonymous identifier (a random ID via Firebase Anonymous Authentication) so we can save your credits and creations. This ID is not linked to your real-world identity.
2. Information we process
Photos and images you choose to edit. When you select a photo and request an edit or video, that image is uploaded to our servers so the AI can process it and return a result. You control when this happens — it is only triggered by an explicit action from you (for example, tapping "Choose a photo" and "Create").
Generated content. The images and videos the AI produces for you are stored so you can view them in your Library.
Purchase information. If you subscribe, your subscription status is managed through Google Play Billing and RevenueCat. We receive whether a subscription is active — we do not receive or store your credit card or payment details (these are handled by Google).
Credits and usage. The number of credits you have and the actions you perform (to deduct credits) are stored against your anonymous ID.
Technical and diagnostic data. Standard technical information such as app version, device type, crash and performance data, and anti-abuse signals (Firebase App Check), used to keep the service secure and reliable.
We do not collect your precise location, contacts, microphone, or browsing history.
3. How we use your information
We use the information solely to:
Provide the core feature: process your photo and return the AI edit or video;
Store your creations and credit balance;
Operate subscriptions and grant the access you paid for;
Maintain security, prevent abuse and fraud, and fix bugs;
Comply with legal obligations.
We do not use your photos to train AI models, we do not sell your data, and we do not share your data with third parties for advertising.
4. AI processing and service providers
To deliver the App we rely on trusted providers that process data on our behalf:
Google Firebase / Google Cloud — anonymous authentication, database (Firestore), file storage (Cloud Storage), and hosting.
Google Cloud Vertex AI — the AI models (image and video generation) that process your selected photo to create the result.
RevenueCat — subscription management.
Your images may be processed on Google Cloud servers for the sole purpose of generating your result. These providers are bound by their own privacy and security commitments.
5. Data retention and deletion
Your photos, creations, credits and anonymous profile remain available while you use the App. You can delete all of your data at any time from Settings → "Delete my data", which removes your anonymous profile, your uploaded photos and your generated content from our storage. Uninstalling the App also stops any further processing.
6. Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has used the App, contact us and we will delete the associated data.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit, restricted server access, and anti-abuse protection, to safeguard your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your data, or to object to certain processing. Because the App is anonymous, the simplest way to exercise deletion is the in-app "Delete my data" option.
9. International transfers
Our providers may process and store data on servers located outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, appropriate safeguards are applied to protect your information.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice.
