At Strong Password Generator, your security and personal privacy are our highest priorities. This Privacy Policy explains how our application operates, how your data is handled, and our strict commitment to zero-knowledge on-device operations.
Strong Password Generator operates on a strict zero-knowledge, offline-first model.
On-Device Cryptography: All passwords, passphrases, PINs, and cryptographic keys are generated entirely on your local device using industry-standard java.security.SecureRandom.
No Cloud Synchronization: We do not operate external authentication servers, remote databases, or cloud credential storage. Your generated credentials, saved passwords, custom tags, and generation histories never leave your device.
No Account Required: You do not need to register an account, log in, or provide any personal identification (such as your name, email address, or phone number) to use the application.
All data created within the app is stored locally on your device using encrypted Android Room/SQLite storage:
Saved Passwords & History: Saved entries and historical records reside strictly within private application sandbox storage and cannot be read by other applications.
Clipboard Management: The application can copy passwords to your clipboard and offers an automatic clipboard-clearing timer to prevent lingering sensitive data leaks. Clipboard data is processed in transient memory only.
Export & Backup: If you choose to export your vault (e.g., via PDF export), the file is generated locally and saved only to the directory you designate or shared via Android's native system share sheet.
To support app maintenance and optional premium features, standard Google Play services may be utilized:
Google Play In-App Billing: In-app subscriptions and pro upgrades are processed securely through Google Play Billing. We do not receive, process, or store your credit card numbers or financial details; all transactions are governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
Advertising (Free Tier): If using the free version, Google AdMob may serve contextual or personalized advertisements. Google AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the Google Advertising ID), IP addresses, and diagnostic crash data in compliance with Google Play Developer Policies.
You maintain complete control over all data stored within the app:
Manual Deletion: You can delete individual saved credentials or clear your entire generation history at any time from within the app settings.
Total Eradication: Uninstalling the application or clearing the app’s storage through Android Settings permanently erases all locally saved passwords, settings, and histories without retention.
The application does not knowingly collect, solicit, or maintain personal identifiable information from children under the age of 13.
We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy to reflect app updates or regulatory requirements. Any updates will be posted with a revised effective date.
