- **Subscription information**: managed by Apple via App Store

- **Device information**: device model, operating system version, app version
- **Usage data**: features used, scan history, in-app actions
- **Crash and performance data**: anonymous logs to improve App stability
We do NOT collect:
- Your real name (unless you provide it)
- Phone number
- Precise GPS location
- Photos from your library (unless you upload them voluntarily)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- Provide and improve the scanning service
- Maintain your scan history
- Manage your premium subscription
- Send important notifications about the App
- Analyze App performance and fix bugs

3. Sharing of Information
We do NOT sell your personal data. We may share limited data only with:
- **RevenueCat** (subscription management): anonymous user ID, subscription status
- **Apple** (App Store): purchase information for subscription processing
- **OpenFoodFacts API** (food database): barcodes scanned (no personal data)
- **Analytics providers** (anonymous): aggregated usage statistics
All third parties are GDPR-compliant.
4. Subscriptions and Payments
- Premium subscriptions (Monthly/Annual) are processed by **Apple** via the App Store
- We do NOT have access to your credit card information
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled in your Apple ID Settings
- We use **RevenueCat** to manage subscription states (anonymous user ID only)
5. Data Retention
- **Scan history**: stored on your device + optional iCloud backup
- **Account data**: kept as long as your account is active
- **Anonymous usage data**: kept up to 24 months
- You can request deletion of your data at any time (see Section 8)
6. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS)
- Secure local storage on device
- No unencrypted storage of sensitive data
However, no Internet transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children's Privacy
Nuky Food Scanner is **NOT directed at children under 13**. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such data, contact us to delete it.
