NeoWave operates the Data Recovery: Restore Files mobile application (the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.
To provide a functional file recovery service, our application requires access to your device's storage. However, we prioritize your privacy and do not collect personal files on our servers.
Types of Data Collected:
Media and Files: Our app requires "All Files Access" or "Storage Permissions" to scan and recover deleted photos, videos, and documents. This process happens locally on your device. We do not upload your personal files to our servers.
Device Information: We may collect information about your mobile device (e.g., model, OS version, unique device identifiers).
We use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. Below are the providers we use:
Google AdMob (Advertising)
We use AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may use advertising IDs (such as Android Advertising ID) to serve personalized ads based on your interests.
Firebase (Analytics & Crash Reporting)
We use Firebase to understand how users interact with the app and to monitor technical performance (crashes).
Firebase Analytics: Helps us track user engagement and app usage patterns.
Firebase Crashlytics: Helps us identify and fix bugs to improve app stability.
To function correctly, the app may request the following permissions:
MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Necessary to scan the device for deleted files and perform recovery.
Internet Access: Required for displaying ads and sending anonymous analytical data.
The security of your data is important to us. Since your recovered files remain on your device, you maintain control over them. For the analytical data we collect, we implement industry-standard security measures to prevent unauthorized access.
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will delete it immediately.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date."
