This Privacy Policy describes how Drivr (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares, and safeguards your information when you use the Drivr mobile app and related services.

Account Data: name, phone number, email, profile photo (optional), preferred language.
Trip Data: pickup/destination, route, timestamps, fare, driver/vehicle details, ratings.
Location Data:
Precise location when the app is in use to find nearby drivers and navigate trips.
Background location only during active trips for navigation, safety, and ETAs.
Device & Usage Data: device model, OS, app version, IP, crash logs, diagnostics, performance data.
Payment Data: tokenized card or wallet identifiers via our payment processor (we don’t store full card numbers).
Communications: in‑app chat/calls with driver, support tickets, feedback.
Cookies/Similar: identifiers used for analytics, fraud prevention, and improving services.
Provide and improve bookings, navigation, and support.
Show upfront fares, ETAs, and live tracking.
Process payments and detect/prevent fraud.
Send trip updates, receipts, and important notices.
Personalize offers and promotions (where applicable).
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
Performance of a contract (to provide rides and payments).
Legitimate interests (safety, fraud prevention, analytics).
Consent (push notifications, marketing where required).

Drivers/Riders: share necessary trip details (first name/initial, pickup/dropoff, phone masking, ratings).
Service Providers:
Maps/Navigation: Google Maps Platform.
Push: Firebase Cloud Messaging (with APNs on iOS).
Payments: Stripe (tokenization and payment processing).
Analytics/Crash: Firebase/Crashlytics or similar.
Legal & Safety: to comply with law, enforce terms, protect rights, safety, and property.
Business Transfers: in mergers, acquisitions, or asset sales, subject to this Policy.
Keep account and trip records for as long as needed for service, legal, tax, and fraud prevention.
Shorter retention for logs/diagnostics unless needed for security or legal purposes.
Upon account deletion, we delete or de‑identify data not required to retain by law.
Access, correct, update, or delete your information.
Object to or restrict processing; withdraw consent where applicable.
Portability (where applicable).

We may verify identity before acting on requests.
Location: to find nearby drivers and navigate; background only during active trips.

Motion (optional): improves ETAs and safety features during active trips.
Manage in iOS Settings → Drivr.
Service not directed to children under 13 (or local age threshold). We do not knowingly collect data from children without appropriate consent.
Encryption in transit (TLS). Restricted access on a need‑to‑know basis.
No method is 100% secure; we maintain safeguards aligned with industry practices.
Data may be processed outside your country. We use appropriate safeguards (e.g., SCCs) where required.
You may opt out of non‑essential marketing via app settings or unsubscribe links. Service/transactional messages will still be sent.
Third‑party sites and SDKs have their own policies. Review Google, Firebase, and Stripe policies before use.
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be notified in‑app or by email. Continued use after changes indicates acceptance.
