At Gmail API Contacts Extractor Pro, we take your privacy seriously. This policy describes how our Chrome extension handles data.
Our extension is designed to be a "local-first" tool.
Gmail Data: The extension accesses your Gmail messages via the official Google GMail API only when you initiate a scan. This data is used solely to identify and extract email addresses for your personal use.
Contacts & Sheets: The extension can write data to your Google Contacts and Google Sheets only upon your explicit request (e.g., clicking "Sync" or "Export").
Authentication: We use Google OAuth2 for authentication. We do not see or store your Google password.
No External Servers: We do not transmit your emails, contact lists, or any personal data to any external servers. All data processing and filtering happen locally within your browser's memory.
Temporary Memory: Extracted data is stored in the extension's temporary memory and is cleared once the side panel is closed or the page is refreshed.
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties. Data is only moved between your own Google services (Gmail to Contacts/Sheets) based on your actions.
Identity: Used to securely log you into your Google account.
SidePanel: Used to provide a convenient user interface.
API Scopes: Necessary to read your emails for extraction and write to your contacts/sheets for exporting.
We use industry-standard Google APIs and OAuth2 protocols to ensure your data remains within the secure Google ecosystem.
