Dr. Saha is an Assistant Professor of Finance at Truman State University. He earned a Ph.D. in Finance from Texas Tech University, an M.S. in Quantitative Financial Economics from Oklahoma State University, and a BBA in Finance from the University of Dhaka. He is also a CFA Charterholder.

His current research focuses on the money market, corporate finance, and fintech. His job market paper titled "SEC Reforms of Floating NAV and the Lending Behavior of Money Market Funds" examines the impact of the 2016 SEC rule change, which triggered a redemption spree on the corporate borrowers of the Money Market Funds (MMFs). His research has been presented at SWFA, GFC, and FMA conferences. In recognition of his research work, the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech University awarded him the "Doctoral Student Excellence in Research Award" in 2021.

He is currently teaching "Investments-BSD 420" and "Corporate Finance-BSAD 406" at Truman State University in Fall 2022. He has already taught "Personal Financial Management-FIN3319," and "Introduction to Financial Markets and Institutions-FIN3323" at TTU. He also instructed in the Bloomberg lab at TTU for a year.
