The Princeton Special Education Parent Advisory Group, or SEPAG (pronounced sea-pag), is a state-mandated, district-level, parent-driven group charged with providing input to the Princeton school district on system-level issues relating to students with disabilities/learning differences.
Whether your child is in a "gen ed" classroom or a self-contained one—and whether they already receive accommodations from the District or you're just exploring the possibility of an evaluation—we are here for you.
When you attend SEPAG Coffee Chats or other meetings, you get to know your school's principal as well as the Princeton Public Schools professionals who work hard for, and with, our kids every day.
And when you join the SEPAG WhatsApp group, you tap into a wealth of knowledge from generous parents and caregivers who are eager to share what they've learned. Parents of younger students can hear about the transitions to middle school and high school, get tips about local providers, and more.
Any parent or guardian of a special education student (including students with IEPs or 504 plans) enrolled in Princeton Public Schools OR placed in an out-of-district school by the PPS child study team is considered a member of SEPAG. You're also welcome to join us if you suspect your child(ren) might need these accommodations in the future. Membership is also open to students and to any resident or staff member of the Princeton Public Schools with an interest in special education. There are no membership dues.
To begin connecting with us, attend a SEPAG meeting and/or join our WhatsApp group.
