Our Head-Chef Mr Lam takes great pride in our larder, guiding his team in his tried & true techniques. Having served time in kitchens in both Hong Kong & Glasgow, alongside Andy Chung at the Old Amber Regent on Byers Road prior to heading our kitchen for over two decades. Pioneering Cantonese dining & Chinese cooking for a Western palate. His culinary repertoire exceeds the dishes selected for our menus, that's not to say those ancient Chinese secrets are lost but hopefully inspiring the mind of his apprentices & proteges.
Having built longstanding relationships within the food industry means our customer feedback reaches our suppliers & producer.
In addition to our regular dishes, we get requested to prepare Lobster, Crayfish & Halibut among other delicacies. So don't hesitate to ask a member of staff for your favourite dish you tried elsewhere, we can prepare a variety of other dishes not found on our menu given prior notice for you and your guests. We love food & if its a hit with regulars then it might just make it to the menu.
Drawing inspiration from the Buddhist diet we plan to introduce a variety of healthy new dishes & lite bites to keep you going during the day we hope 2017 is the year all our customers, friends & family come home to roost.
