Goal of Lesson: Use flashlights help to create faux constellations
Learning Skills: Fine motor skills through cutting and poking holes in paper. How to use a flashlight.
Materials: Black construction paper, scissors, something to poke holes (pencil, thumb tack), flashlight, tape
*Tip: Buy big pack of flashlights and use for years to come
1. Cut circles from paper that are the same size as your flashlight opening.
2. Poke holes in the circle papers to create stars.
If kids are older have them look up different constellations to draw and poke holes for.
3. Tape the poked paper to the flashlight.
4. Turn off the lights/go to a dark room.
5. Turn on your flashlights and see your stars light up the room.
