Age Level: 4 year old
Goal of Lesson: have students learn how to use a screw driver
Learning Skills: Hand eye coordination and teach students how to use a screw driver.
Materials: screw driver and big screws (can use toy ones too)
Pre-Step
1. Teachers take a box and poke small holes in it. This is the starting hole for the students to start screwing.
1. Have students take a screw and screw it into the box. They will find out that if they turn the screw right it will go into the box and if they turn it left it will go out.
2. Students can also do the same with hammers and nails.
Warning: Students must be careful because these tools are sharp and can hurt. Play tools are strongly recommended.
