Age Level: 2-4 year old
Goal of Lesson: Have students use daily items to blow bubbles.
Learning Skills: Grow creativity to see what students can blow bubbles with. Teaching how to blow bubbles. Use observation skills to see what makes the best bubbles.
Materials: Large bowl, bubble solution, household objects (whisks, serving spoons, cookie cutter, straws, fly swatter etc.)
1. Ask students what tool they thing will make he most/biggest bubbles and why.
2. Fill a large bowl outside with bubble solution and have students blow bubbles with the various items. Observe which tool makes the biggest bubbles and why.
3. Analyze and come up with a conclusion of what makes good, big bubbles. See what the difference between the tools in making these bubbles was. Have student come up with tools they would like to test out next time.
