Goal of Lesson: Have students identify shapes using objects around the classroom.
Learning Skills: identifying shapes
Materials: an area with shapes (ex. classroom or playground), list of shapes
1. Give students a list of shapes. Older kids can be given more complex shapes while younger kids can be given fewer, more simple shapes.
2. Have students find things around the classroom that are in the same shape as the shape on the piece of paper. For example: clock = circle.
