Goal of Lesson: Have students learn about basic cooking measurements

Materials: rice/beans/noodles, ladle, measuring cup
1. Give students a big bucket of rice/beans/noodles, a ladle, and a measuring cup
2. Give students a card with a number written on it. Have students scoop the same amount of scoops as the number on the card says. Scoop the rice with the ladle and pour it in a measuring cup.
3. Have students see how much each scoop is by using the measuring cup.
