Goal of Lesson: Have students learn to count change through using coins to make caterpillars
Learning Skills: identifying coins and counting/adding them
Materials: coins and paper
1. Give students different types of coins. Older kids can have more variety of coins while younger kids can have coins with less amount.
2. Have students form a caterpillar with the coins and then count up the amount the coins make up.
*Tip: Have students write the number of the coin below it so it helps them remember and then add them up.
