Goal of Lesson: have students work together to make one big windchime
Learning Skills: teamwork and exploring their own sense of style
Materials: tin cans and string and paint
1. Tell the students that each of them will take part in making a giant windchime. They will get excited for everyone to be able to participate and work together to make it happen.
2. Give each student a tin can and have them decorate it with their name and things they like. Paint works best for decorating the cans.
3. Teachers; poke holes on the bottoms of the cans and tie a string through them. Connect everyone's tin can together using string (poke holes on the sides) It doesn't have to be perfect. Hang it up in the classroom or outside on a tree.
