Nature Walk Art

Age Level: 2-4 year old

Goal of Lesson: have students collect items from nature and then use them in their art pieces

Learning Skills: create even with restrictions, see the beauty in nature

Materials: nature finds, paper, art supplies (paint, markers, crayons, etc)

1. Have students go outside for 5 minutes and find things in nature they can use to incorporate in their art. For example taping leaves onto their paper or using a pinecone as a paintbrush.

2. Then have students use their creativity to create with nature. For a guided approach give students a prompt such as boats or fireworks.
