This privacy policy applies to the Prompy App: Prompts for AI Images app for mobile devices and web browsers, together with any related services operated by Arpit Sahu (collectively, the "Application"). Arpit Sahu is hereby referred to as the "Service Provider."
1. Information Collection and Use
The Application collects information when you download, register, and use it. This information falls into two main categories:
A. Information You Provide Directly (User-Provided Data)
To use features such as user accounts and logins, the Service Provider may require you to provide personally identifiable information, including but not limited to:
Name
Email address
Phone number
Profile picture
B. Automatically Collected Information
The Application may also collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to:
Your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address
The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, and time spent on those pages
The operating system you use
2. Artificial Intelligence & Optional Image Generation Features
The Application is a catalogue of AI images and prompts designed to help you discover and use prompts on your favorite image generators.
Optional In-App Generation: The Application may later feature in-app image generation using third-party APIs (such as Google Gemini). Utilizing this feature is completely optional.
Data Transmitted to APIs: If you choose to use optional in-app generation features, data (such as prompts or images you submit) may be sent to these third-party AI services. Such data transmission is governed by those respective third-party services' privacy policies.
Server Storage: Data sent to these APIs may also be stored on our servers to maintain your generation history and app functionality. You may choose not to use these optional features or send data to these services while still using other parts of the app.
3. Location Information
The Application may collect your device's location to provide location-based features, improve the Application, and support related services:
Geolocation Services: Used to provide location-based features or tailored content.
Analytics and Improvements: Aggregated location data helps understand usage patterns and performance.
Third-Party Services: May be shared with third-party partners to support core functionality, subject to this policy.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
The Application or its third-party SDKs may use cookies, SDKs, pixels, and similar technologies to support functionality, analytics, or service delivery. Where required by applicable law, the Service Provider will obtain consent before using non-essential tracking technologies.
5. Third-Party Services & Access
The Application utilizes trusted third-party services that have their own Privacy Policies regarding data handling. These include:

Google Analytics for Firebase
Firebase Crashlytics
OneSignal
Amplitude
Mixpanel
RevenueCat
Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application. The Service Provider may disclose your information:
As required by law (e.g., to comply with a subpoena or legal process).
When necessary to protect rights, protect safety, investigate fraud, or respond to government requests.
With trusted service providers who work on behalf of the Service Provider, do not have independent use of the information, and agree to adhere to this privacy statement.
6. International Data Transfers
The Service Provider or its third-party service providers may transfer personal data to countries outside your country of residence, including outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Where applicable, transfers are safeguarded via:
Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission.
Adequacy decisions or other legally recognized transfer mechanisms.
Your explicit consent, where required and legally permitted.
7. Data Retention Policy
The Service Provider retains personal data based on its necessity for the stated purposes:
User Provided Data: Retained for the duration of your use of the Application plus 12 months thereafter, unless longer retention is required by law.
Automatically Collected Data: Retained for up to 24 months from collection.
Aggregated and Anonymized Data: Retained indefinitely as it no longer identifies you.
Legal Compliance Data: Retained as long as required by applicable law.
8. Your Rights and Data Deletion
You have full control over your data. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data held by the Service Provider.
Opt-Out (Uninstalling): You can stop all information collection by uninstalling the mobile application or ceasing to use the website. Note that uninstalling does not automatically delete information already transmitted to servers.
Account Deletion / Data Requests: To request deletion of your personal account or data, withdraw consent, or exercise your rights, contact the Service Provider at rptsahu1@gmail.com. Upon identity verification, data will be purged except where retention is legally required.
9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, request its deletion, opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and exercise these rights free from discrimination. Contact rptsahu1@gmail.com to submit a request.
10. Children's Privacy
The Application is not intended for children under 16 years of age (or such higher age as required by applicable law). The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 16. If it is discovered that a child has provided personal information, the Service Provider will delete it immediately. 11. Security & Data Breach Notification
The Service Provider implements physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the confidentiality of your information. In the event of a data breach affecting your personal data, you will be notified in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be posted with an updated effective date, and where required by law, your consent will be sought.
