Privacy Blur performs all visual privacy operations locally within your browser.
Blur effects are generated directly on the page being viewed and are not transmitted to external servers.
Privacy Blur may use third-party analytics services to collect anonymous usage information and improve the Extension.
These services may collect technical information such as:
Browser type
Extension version
Feature usage statistics
Performance metrics
No WhatsApp content or private communications are transmitted to analytics providers.
Privacy Blur does not sell, rent, trade, or share user data with third parties.
Locally stored settings remain on your device until:
The Extension is removed,
Browser storage is cleared, or
Settings are manually reset by the user.
Anonymous analytics data may be retained by analytics providers according to their own retention policies.
Privacy Blur is designed using privacy-first principles and minimizes access to user information.
The Extension only requests the permissions necessary for its core functionality.
