App Name Description
Flow Prelims is an operational field planning app built for users who need fast, accurate location, weather, grid, and timing information in one place. It combines live location data, multi-source weather, solar and lunar calculations, map-based prelim data, aviation weather, and structured orders workflows into a single field-ready workspace.
Designed for operational planning, navigation support, training, and briefing preparation, Flow Prelims helps you move from “where am I?” to “what does that mean for the task?” quickly. The app supports key coordinate formats including latitude/longitude, MGRS, and OSGB, provides address and altitude context, and presents weather using combined or source-specific views from Apple WeatherKit, Open-Meteo, and Met Office data.
Flow Prelims also includes astronomy and light-state tools for planning around first light, sunrise, sunset, last light, moon phase, and moon illumination. For aviation-aware users, the Forecast view can display METAR and TAF data with raw reports, decoded summaries, and nearest-airport resolution. When it is time to brief or record, you can save orders, attach weather and location data, and generate professional PDF exports and image outputs from within the app.
Whether you are preparing a ground brief, checking environmental conditions, validating a grid reference, or building a clean operational snapshot for later use, Flow Prelims keeps the critical information together and ready to use.
