Survival Chess is not your regular chess game. It is a game with a twist. This chess version takes inspiration from a famous wizard film series, where one of its 3 lead characters had to command their chess pieces while also becoming a chess piece themselves. While working on another project, this scene suddenly popped up in my head and I thought I should make something similar; and so here it is: Survival Chess.
In this chess game, you're to nonimate a side to play as per the regular chess rule, but here's the twist - you've to nominate a secondary chess piece. Yes, you can opt to become a pawn, a bishop, a knight, a rook, or a queen. Your duty is to protect both your King and this nominated piece and lead your pieces to victory.
If your King is checkmated or your nominated piece is taken off the board, the game ends. It might seems like a simple task, but get ready to be surprised by just how things get sticky when you've to multitask protecting both while aiming to win your round. Your AI opponent will be a tough match to play against. With that said, let's see how many rounds you're able to survive.
