EVADE was published on August 4th 2021 is an adaptation of a game development tutorial by Mark Overmars which I saw on a popular video hosting - sharing site. I took a liking on the base idea he presented, so I expanded the gameplay using my own original coding skills and assets, while still retaining the same gameplay. As always the sound files were sourced from various sources which are royalty free. Credit to the files can be viewed in the app's credit screen.

The game backstory took inspiration from a case I heard on TV about a guy in Europe who accidentally disposed of his hard disk containing the access key to his cryptocurrency. So yeah, going from there, the mouse in this game had an almost similar situation, except it managed to get into the dump site to try recover its hard disk. The mouse in this case didn't have to deal with bureaucracy red tape to get into the dump site.

The backstory goes like so; Your friendly neighborhood mouse is in the process of moving out from his nice neighborhood. As he await the movers to come pick up his belongings, an unfortunate mix up occurred. On realising his belongings been mistaken for trash, he rushed to the city dumping site, which also do recycling processing.

Among his so many prized possessions, includes dozens of hard disks containing his cryptocurrency savings. Can you help him recover as much of his digital money as possible? Will you be able to help him safely navigate himself from the potential harm the dump site's cat intend to inflict on him?

It took me roughly 6 months to create this app from scratch, as I as with everyone else around the world are caught up in this global pandemic caused by Covid19 and its variants. It is a trying time for my family and myself, but as with everyone else around the world we're all simply trying to navigate safely through this trying time. May God protect us all. Amen!
