This Privacy Policy explains how Prayer Lock: Focus & Reminder ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application ("App"). 1. CORE PRIVACY PRINCIPLES

Local Data Processing

Prayer tracking status, focus settings, selected app preferences, and user configurations are stored locally on your device.
We do not upload or store this data on external servers.

Minimal Data Collection

We only collect limited, anonymous usage data through Firebase Analytics to improve app performance and user experience.

No Personal Data Collection

We do not collect:

• Names

• Phone numbers

• Contacts

• Messages

• Typed input

• Personal identifiers

User Control & Transparency

All core features of the App, including reminder functionality, are controlled by the user and can be enabled or disabled at any time.

2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

A. Accessibility Service Usage

The App uses Accessibility Service to support its core functionality.

This permission is used only to:

• Detect when selected apps are opened

• Display a reminder on top of the screen during prayer times

We explicitly confirm that:

• We do NOT read or capture screen content

• We do NOT collect text, messages, or sensitive data

• We do NOT track or store app usage history

• We do NOT monitor user behavior outside this feature

• We do NOT control, block, or close other apps

Accessibility Service is used solely to provide a user-triggered reminder feature.

This permission can be disabled at any time from your device settings.

B. Overlay Permission

The App requests permission to display overlays in order to:

• Show reminders on top of other apps during prayer times

This functionality:

• Does not interfere with system behavior

• Does not block or restrict app usage

• Only displays informational UI

C. Analytics Data (via Firebase Analytics)

We collect limited anonymous analytics data such as:

• Device type and model

• Operating system version

• App version

• Screens viewed and feature usage

• Approximate country-level location

• Anonymous identifiers generated by Firebase

This data is used strictly to improve app performance and user experience.
It is not linked to personally identifiable information.

Firebase may temporarily process IP addresses in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

D. Notification Data

If you grant notification permission, the App may send:

• Prayer reminders

• Focus reminders

These notifications are generated locally and are not based on personal data collection.

3. DATA STORAGE & SHARING

• We do NOT sell, rent, or trade any user data

• We do NOT share personal data with third parties

4. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If such data is identified, it will be deleted.

5. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending on your region, you may have the right to:

• Request access to analytics data

• Request deletion of support communications

• Withdraw consent for analytics tracking
