Pranava Singhal

I'm a graduate student at Stanford University where I am pursuing Masters in Computer Science with an Artificial Intelligence specialization. My research interests include causal inference, federated learning, sparse signal processing and other topics in machine learning. I'm currently working as a research assistant with Professor Sanmi Koyejo at the Stanford Trustworthy AI Lab.

I completed my undergraduate studies at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay majoring in Electrical Engineering with a Minor in Artificial Intelligence. I've had the privilege to work under the guidance of wonderful professors like Sunita Sarawagi, Ajit Rajwade, and Vikram Gadre during my undergrad.

In the summer of 2023 I interned at Aalborg University, Denmark, where I had the excellent opportunity to work alongside Profs. Petar Popovski and Shashi Raj Pandey.

You can find more details of my academic journey using the links in the header.

I presented my work PairNet: Training with Observed Pairs to Estimate Individual Treatment Effect at the International Conference on Machine Learning (ICML '24) at Vienna, Austria. This work was under the guidance of Profs. Sunita Sarawagi and Avishek Ghosh in collaboration with Lokesh Nagalapatti.
