Material Microstructure Process and Design Research Group
Dr. Pikee Priya is an Assistant Professor in the department of Materials Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. She has worked extensively on data-driven computational analysis of electrokinetics for energy applications, and microstructural design for traditional/additive manufacturing. She received her doctoral degree in Materials Engineering from Purdue University in December 2016. She has a Masters’s degree from the Indian Institute of Science. She was awarded a gold medal for her academic excellence during her Bachelor’s. She also secured an All-India Rank 1 in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. She has experience in multiscale, multi-physics frameworks for the data-driven design of materials and processes for energy and manufacturing processes. Dr. Priya’s research has led to several multi-disciplinary publications in well-known journals. When she is not discussing/teaching research, she can be found enjoying music with/without her coffee.
