Student and Young Engineers Meeting in IPEC2022 was held !

The participants from students from 12 universities from around the world and young engineers held active discussions.
Two universities got a prize as best presenters.
1st: Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna (Thailand)
2nd: Aalborg University (Denmark)

The meeting was held in the late evening. After that, we had a drinking party online and talking about each lab's progress as for this time.

We deepened the exchange among PPEJ members by introducing information about the laboratory and the remote work system of each laboratory. It was a very fulfilling online event, with humorous announcements and chats as well as technical opinions. Also, not only PPEJ members but also those who are interested in PhD were invited to join us!

Lab tour was held at CPES Virginia Tech after IEEE-ECCE 2019 !

After the IEEE-ECCE 2019 (IEEE Annual Energy Conversion Congress and Exposition), we held a CPES (Center for Power Electronics Systems) lab tour at Virginia Tech, which is famous in the field of power electronics, to deepen exchanges with overseas researchers and students. Besides, we exchanged opinions and made lively discussions through presentations, and were able to realize the difference between Japan and other countries about the situation and environment of doctoral students.
Lab tour at Electric Energy Conversion Lab. Hokkaido University!

After the sessions in the 2021 annual meeting of the IEEJ, PPEJ held the lab tour at Electric Energy Conversion Lab. Hakkaido University. We had a regular meeting and visited some experimental rooms! As expected, Hokkaido university has large area in Japan.
There were a drinking party at night, where students in master course, PPEJ members, and young professors attended.
Site is near Sapporo station.
