Restoration Agroecology is a simple concept; to restore our ecosystems to a place where they are not separate from our existence but reflect the interdependence which has existed across a millennia for humans and their ecosystems. While landscape restoration has existed since the dawn of the environmentalism movement, we aim to address two issues with this; the first being that it operates under the framework of humans outside of nature, as opposed to intimately within nature, and the second being that traditional restoration projects exist outside of the scope of the average person and primarily exist as the pet projects of the rich.
