This Privacy Policy describes how Alexander Zubkov, sole developer ("Developer", "I", "me", "my") handles information in connection with the mobile application "Business Idea" and its premium features (collectively, the "App"), distributed through the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
The short version: the App is designed to work entirely on your device. I do not operate a backend server, I do not use any third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, and I do not collect, receive, or have access to your business ideas, plans, notes, spreadsheets, or drawings.
1. INFORMATION I DO NOT COLLECT
The App does not collect any personal information from you. In particular, I do not collect, receive, store, or have access to:
- your name, email address, phone number, or any other contact information;
- your location, device identifiers, advertising identifiers, or IP address;
- your business ideas, plans, notes, spreadsheets, drawings, or any other content you create in the App ("User Content");
- any usage analytics, crash reports, or behavioural data collected by me or by any third-party SDK embedded in the App;
- any payment-card or billing information.
The App does not contain any third-party analytics, advertising, attribution, tag-management, or tracking SDKs. The App makes no outbound network calls to any server operated by me.
2. INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
All User Content you create in the App, together with your in-app preferences and settings, is stored locally on your device, within the App's sandbox. This information stays on your device and is under your control. You can delete all of it at any time by deleting the App.
If you have iCloud Backup or Google One device backup enabled in your system settings, your operating system may include the App's data in your encrypted device backup. Such backups are managed by Apple or Google under their own privacy policies, and I have no access to them.
3. PURCHASES AND SUBSCRIPTIONS
Premium features are unlocked through auto-renewable subscriptions sold by Apple (via the App Store) or Google (via Google Play). All purchases are processed by Apple or Google. I do not receive your payment-card details, billing address, or Apple/Google account identity.
For subscription validation, the App uses Apple's StoreKit (or, on Android, the equivalent Google Play Billing service) to read a cryptographically signed receipt that confirms your entitlement to premium features. This receipt is validated on your device. I do not transmit it to any server operated by me.
Apple and Google may share with me, as the App's developer, aggregated and anonymous reports about the App (for example, total number of subscribers, country-level revenue, retention curves). These reports do not identify individual users.
4. APP STORE / GOOGLE PLAY ANALYTICS
If you have opted in to "Share With App Developers" in iOS Settings (Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements), or to equivalent analytics sharing on Android, Apple or Google may provide me with aggregated, anonymous usage and crash statistics about the App. These statistics are produced and anonymised by Apple or Google; they do not identify you personally and I cannot link them to any individual. You can withdraw this consent at any time in your device's system settings.
5. HOW I USE INFORMATION
Because I do not collect personal information from you, my use of information is limited to:
- validating, on your device, that you are entitled to premium features;
- reviewing aggregated, anonymous App Store / Google Play reports in order to maintain and improve the App;
- responding to email correspondence you initiate with me, using the email address from which you wrote.
I do not use any information for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.
6. SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
I do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share personal information with any third party. I do not transfer any personal information for marketing purposes.
The only third parties involved in your use of the App are:
(a) Apple Inc., when you obtain the App or a subscription from the Apple App Store. Apple's handling of your information is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy (https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/).
(b) Google LLC, when you obtain the App or a subscription from the Google Play Store. Google's handling of your information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
I may disclose information if required to do so by law, by a valid legal process, or to protect my rights, provided that I would have nothing to disclose about your User Content because I do not hold it.
7. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age under the law of your country, where higher). I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to me, please contact me and I will take appropriate steps to delete it, although in practice the App is structured so as not to receive such information in the first place.
8. SECURITY
The App relies on the security mechanisms provided by your operating system, including iOS / Android application sandboxing, device encryption, and the App Store / Google Play distribution channel. You are responsible for keeping your device and your Apple Account or Google Account secure. No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under data protection laws such as the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"), the Law of Ukraine "On Personal Data Protection", or similar laws. These rights may include the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to processing.
Because I do not collect or hold personal information about you, there is generally no data on my side for me to access, correct, or delete in response to such a request. You can exercise these rights in the most direct way available:
- User Content: delete it from within the App, or delete the App from your device, to remove it locally.
- Subscription data: contact Apple (https://reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google through your Google Play account.
- Device backups: manage them through your iCloud or Google Account settings.
If you nevertheless wish to make a request, or if you believe that I am processing your personal data in violation of applicable law, you may contact me at the address in Section 13 below. EU/EEA and UK users also have the right to lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority.
10. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING (EU/EEA AND UK USERS)
To the limited extent any processing of personal data takes place, my legal bases under the GDPR are:
- Performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)): processing strictly necessary to provide the App and any subscription you have purchased, including local entitlement validation.
- Legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)): reviewing aggregated, anonymous App Store / Google Play reports in order to maintain and improve the App. You may object to this processing, but please note that Apple and Google have already anonymised these reports before I see them.
- Consent (Article 6(1)(a)): where you have opted in to share analytics with app developers via your device settings. You may withdraw this consent at any time in your device settings.
11. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
I am based in Ukraine. To the extent any aggregated, anonymous report is transmitted to me by Apple or Google, it may be accessed from Ukraine. Apple and Google operate their own international transfer mechanisms, which they describe in their respective privacy policies.
12. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If I make material changes, I will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, where appropriate, provide additional notice (for example, in the App or on the App's store listing). Your continued use of the App after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
