This Privacy Policy explains how PowerWave (“the App”), developed by [Developer or Company Name], handles information when you use the application.
PowerWave is a battery monitoring and charging diagnostics application that helps you understand your device's battery status, charging and discharging behavior, and charging performance.
We aim to minimize the information handled by the App and keep diagnostic measurements on your device.
PowerWave accesses information provided by the Android operating system to deliver its battery monitoring and diagnostic features. Depending on your device and the features you use, this may include:
Battery information: battery level, charging status, battery health, and battery technology.
Electrical measurements: battery current, voltage, and charging or discharging rates where supported by the device.
Temperature information: battery temperature and related thermal readings provided by Android.
Diagnostic records: charging session history, benchmark results, and charger or cable descriptions that you enter.
Technical device information: device model and Android version, where available and relevant to the App's operation.
The availability and accuracy of measurements may vary by device and Android version.
PowerWave stores its charging session history, benchmark results, and saved diagnostic configurations locally on your device.
These records are used to:
Display current battery and charging information.
Record and review charging or discharging sessions.
Compare measured performance between charger and cable configurations.
Calculate estimates and present diagnostic insights.
Improve your understanding of charging behavior over time.
PowerWave does not upload your battery measurements, charging-session history, or benchmark records to a developer-operated server. The App does not use Firebase Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics.
The advertising services described below operate separately and may process certain technical information and interactions with the App.
PowerWave uses Google AdMob to display advertisements and support the development and maintenance of the App.
Google's Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect or share certain information, including:
IP address, which may be used to estimate general location.
App interactions, such as app launches, taps, and advertisement views.
Diagnostic information about app and SDK performance.
Device and advertising identifiers, such as the Android Advertising ID and App Set ID, where applicable.
Google uses information processed through its advertising services for purposes that may include delivering and measuring advertisements, analytics associated with advertising, and fraud prevention.
The information processed and the advertising experience may vary according to Google's services, your device settings, applicable law, and your consent choices. Google documents its data collection practices and provides additional information in its privacy resources.
Google AdMob's data handling information is available here:
PowerWave does not control all information collected or retained by Google through its advertising services. Google's own policies govern its handling of that information.
PowerWave does not send locally stored diagnostic records to the developer or a developer-operated server.
However, information may be transmitted to Google and its service providers through the AdMob SDK for advertising and related purposes, as described in Section 4.
We do not sell your personal information in exchange for money.
PowerWave uses Android system APIs to access available battery information.
When you explicitly start a diagnostic benchmark, the App may continue collecting measurements while you switch applications or turn off your screen. Android may display a persistent notification while the benchmark is running.
Background monitoring is used to complete the diagnostic test you requested. PowerWave does not need access to your contacts, text messages, photos, or microphone for its core battery-monitoring features.
Diagnostic records are stored locally on your device. You can remove individual records using available deletion features in the App, where provided.
You can also remove locally stored App data through Android settings or uninstall PowerWave. These actions may permanently remove locally stored diagnostic history and saved configurations.
Google may retain information processed through AdMob according to its own retention practices and applicable policies. Removing PowerWave's local data does not necessarily delete information already processed by Google.
PowerWave is designed to keep its diagnostic records on your device rather than transmitting them to developer-operated servers.
Google states that data collected by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS). Other security practices depend on the relevant service and device configuration.
No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
PowerWave is not specifically designed to collect personal information from children.
We do not knowingly collect children's personal information directly for our own purposes. Advertising services integrated into the App may have separate data handling and age-related requirements.
PowerWave relies on third-party services to provide advertising. Those services may operate under separate privacy policies and terms.
We encourage users to review the privacy documentation of third-party providers to understand how their information is processed.
This Privacy Policy may be updated when the App's features, third-party services, data practices, or applicable legal requirements change.
The latest version will be made available at the public privacy policy URL linked from the PowerWave Google Play listing.
