Why a good powerpoint design is important for your success!

In the world of today, if we wish to put our best foot forward, more often than not, we would have to take some sort of help from experts. While we might be experts in our fields but, when it comes to the art of presentation we do need to take advice and assistance from experts in the world of powerpoint presentation. We need to take help from people who can help us prepare a stellar PPT design that can serve us in driving our point home, in front of our audience.

A fine example of taking help from experts can be found in the run-up to the US presidential elections of 1960. It was John F Kennedy vs Richard Nixon. That was the first time a US Presidential Debate was going to be aired on TV so everyone was looking forward to it. John F Kennedy, a virtual novice in the presidential arena was aware of his limitations. So, he made sure he listened to all the advice that came his way especially when it was about looking good in front of Black and White TV cameras.

On the other hand, his opponent was Richard Nixon. He was the incumbent Vice President and therefore, not a pushover in the presidential arena. He refused to listen to any advice from TV Crew when it came to looking good on TV. He was the favorite to win the elections and so he was confident that he would brush aside Kennedy's challenge. Kennedy took the advice of the TV Crew and got makeup applied on his face while Nixon rejected the idea of makeup being applied on the face.

The result? When Richard Nixon went in front of television cameras he looked pale, sickly and often looked like a guy who was afraid of getting caught. Kennedy, on the other hand, looked lively and presidential. We all know who won that election!

Similarly, when we prepare our presentations well, half our job is done. To ensure this taking the help of experts in powerpoint presentation design is a very wise option. Nobody wants to go in front of their audience with a particular message and come back giving some other message altogether. That would be disastrous.

Imagine Google CEO Sundar Pichai going on stage to unveil the latest apps of Google to the world but ends up giving a presentation which makes the audience wonder what is he talking about! Nobody would want to create a situation like that for himself!

When we prepare our presentations we ensure that we design them in a manner that makes sure that there is clarity of messaging. We make sure that the audience is hooked on to every point we make. Most importantly we ensure that the audience can understand the point we are trying to make.

To this end, hiring experts for our PPT design is a very good idea. They would custom design our slides for us keeping in mind the objectives of our presentation. They would ensure that our powerpoint presentation design has the right amount of text, the right amount of images, the right amount of points per slide. They would design our presentation in a manner that ensures that the attention of the audience is not distracted from you and that the audience finds the presentation simple to comprehend. They make sure that the slides in your presentation are cognitively and psychologically optimized thus making it easier for the audience to go through it. They make sure that the redundancy effect, too much text, and too many sentences which in return result in zero retention by the audience, does not come into play in your presentation. Appropriate powerpoint design helps us in connecting with our audience in the way we intended to, now that is exactly what we want don't we?
